Across the Nightingale Floor

The legendary nightingale floor is surveyed by warlord Iida Sadamu from his stronghold with black walls located in Inuyama. Crafted with remarkable proficiency, it resonates with every step a person takes. No killer can pass through it unnoticed.

Takeo, now a young man, was raised in a secluded mountain community among the Hidden, a sedate and spiritual people who have solely taught him the ways of peace. He was unaware, however, that his father was a renowned assassin and a part of the Tribe, an archaic network of families with incredible, supernatural abilities. Takeo is saved from the plunder of his town and taken in by the enigmatic Lord Otori Shigeru. He discovers that, under Shigeru's guidance, he too has the Tribe's abilities. Armed with this information, he sets out on a quest that will take him to both his own unbelievable destiny and the renowned nightingale floor.
