Birdman

In southeast London is Greenwich. Uneasy CID investigators alert the Met's elite murder team, AMIP, to a disturbing find. Five young ladies, all but slain in a ritualistic manner, were left on a wasteland close to the Dome. Officers come to the realization that they are pursuing the most dangerous criminal: a sexual serial murderer, as every post-mortem uncovers a single, horrifying hallmark connecting the victims.

In this, his first case with AMIP, Detective Inspector Jack Caffery—young, ambitious, and unflappable—faces not just animosity within the police but also memories from his past. He uses every tool available to forensic science because, plagued by the recollection of a past death, he believes that it's only a matter of time before this psychotic, chaotic murderer strikes again.
