The only other female werewolf in the world is Elena Michaels. She is also sick of it. She is fed up with living a life of concealment and defense, where her primary responsibility is tracking down renegade werewolves. Weary of a society that demands her worst traits—her wrath and temper—instead of just accepting them. Worst of all, she finds herself becoming more and more comfortable with that life and that person.

She eventually left the Pack and went back to Toronto, where she is attempting to lead a normal life. She only agrees to aid the Pack leader when he calls to beg for assistance quelling an unexpected revolt because she owes him. She will be squared away with the Pack and allowed to resume her human existence when everything is complete. It is her desired outcome. Truly.
