Chasing the Dime

Pierce just moved into a new apartment after being kicked out by his fiancée, and the business he established is about to enter the most important stage of fundraising. He's been "chasing the dime"—going above and above to win a technical war in which the winner would pocket millions. However, he can't shake the messages he has for Lilly, the woman:

"Hello, my name is Frank. Yeah, yeah. Here I am at Peninsula. Six Twelve Room. So please contact me as soon as you can."

There is a problem. In an attempt to find and assist a lady he has never met, Pierce searches, looks into, and eventually disappears into a hole.

He steps into a world of websites, escorts, sex, and hidden desires. For many, the stunning Lilly is a source of yearning. She becomes the potential solution to Pierce's damaged existence. However, Pierce has joined a field where his accomplishments and knowledge are meaningless by chasing Lilly. As an outsider and a mark, he quickly finds himself the target of horrific violence, the main suspect in a murder investigation, and forced to defend himself against forces he can hardly identify.
