Crescendo

Even now, Nora Grey's life is far from ideal. It wasn't easy to survive a suicide attempt, but at least she had a guardian angel. An enigmatic, alluring, and stunning guardian angel. Patch hasn't been behaving angelic, however, despite his role in her life. More enigmatic than ever (if that's even possible), he seems to be hanging out with Marcie Millar, Nora's bitter rival.

If Patch hadn't been behaving so aloof, Nora would scarcely have noticed that an old family friend, Scott Parnell, had returned to town. Despite her persistent suspicions that Scott is concealing something, Nora can't help but be pulled to him despite his completely annoying attitude.

As if that weren't enough, Nora starts to wonder whether her Nephilim ancestry had something to do with her father's death after seeing visions of her dead father. She puts herself in more risky settings in an attempt to discover what occurred, desperate to get the solution. However, it may be best to keep certain things hidden since the truth might ruin everything and everyone she believes in.
