Dear Child

Lena and her two kids live in a windowless cabin in the woods, according to the regulations imposed by their father, their captor. Meals, toilet breaks and study time are all carefully planned and adhered to. He ensures that his children will always have a mother to care for them and shields his family from the threats that exist in the outer world.

Lena eventually escapes, but the horror never ends. Her tormentor seems to be trying to reclaim what is rightfully his. Furthermore, it remains unclear whether she is, in fact, the same "Lena" who vanished from sight fourteen years before. Lena's family, the police, and other parties are frantically attempting to put together a jigsaw that doesn't quite fit.
