According to the police brass, Andy was involved in narcotics and smuggling activities up to his neck, and the shooting was an attempted suicide. When Joanna sees or hears a cover-up, she knows it's murder. However, she is seriously endangering herself and Jenny in her pursuit to find an assassin and clear her husband's reputation. Because a rattler's bite isn't always as deadly as the truth in the desert.
