The release date for the English version of 'Dry' by Augusten Burroughs is Apr 2004. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

You have met Augusten Burroughs, though you may not realize it. He's the twentysomething man in the great suit who works in advertising that you see on the street, in pubs, on the metro, and at restaurants. Regular. regular. However, Augusten was wasting his money by having twelve drinks when the average person was only having two, and he never went home at all when the average person went home at midnight. There was only so much that automatic wake-up calls, loud, distracting ties, and tongue-cracking perfumes could conceal. Augusten entered rehab at his employers' request (actually, it wasn't really a request), where his hopes of participating in group therapy with Robert Downey Jr. were instantly destroyed by the harsh reality of fluorescent lighting and paper hospital slippers. However, Augusten really begins to realize something when he is compelled to look inward, and that's when he finds himself in the most predicament of all. He has to go back to his old drunken Manhattan life and live it sober when his thirty days are gone. What comes next is a book that is as authentic as it is painful, as humorous as it is poignant.
