The release date for the English version of 'Half-Blood' by Jennifer L. Armentrout is Oct 2011. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

The offspring of two Hematoi pure bloods has godlike abilities. The Hematoi are descended from the couplings of gods and mortals. Well, not so much in the case of Hematoi and mortal children. There are only two possibilities available to half-bloods: either learn to become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons, or work as servants in the pures' mansions.

Alexandria, 17, would sooner take a chance on a fight than squander her life cleaning toilets, but she could wind up slumming it nevertheless. Students at the Covenant are expected to abide by a number of regulations. All of them, but particularly rule #1—which forbids relationships between pures and halfs—present issues for Alex. Sadly, she has a serious crush on the very attractive Aiden. However, surviving long enough to graduate from the Covenant and become a Sentinel is her greatest challenge—falling in love with Aiden isn't it?

Should she neglect her responsibilities, she'll risk a fate more terrible than slavery or death: becoming a daimon and coming under Aiden's pursuit. And it would not be good at all.
