In addition, she has her father, who tells her stories of the young child she was, is incredibly devoted to her, and shouldn't be here but is. Thus, Biz keeps everything to himself. Not about kissing Grace or recognizing Jasper, the new boy, not about her wild, wicked thoughts. She also keeps her father a secret from others. after she lost her father when she was six years old. Right there on the surface, normal alright regular fine, Biz understands how to float.

However, following the events on the beach—first in the sea, then in the sand—Biz's tethers become loose. Dad vanishes, taking all the comfort with him. Perhaps floating away would be better, easier, and sweeter in the end? Perhaps extend your stay a bit, locate her father, and return him to her. Alternatively, there might be a third option that Biz is currently blind to.
