I Who Have Never Known Men

"As far back as I can recall, I have been in the bunker."

A young lady is imprisoned underground in a cage with thirty-nine other girls, watched over by armed men who never say anything. Her offenses, if any, go unrecognized.

She is the youngest of forty children, a nameless kid with no background, and she lives in a destroyed and wasted planet for an unknown reason. She has no concept of time, literature, wants, or sentiments in this world where intimacy is prohibited and days and nights are monotonous and artificial.

After that, nothing changes and everything changes.

A kid who has never known life outside of the bars and shackles, a young woman who has never known men, must now piece by piece rebuild herself in a place she has never been and in the face of the most difficult and terrible of unknowns: freedom.
