Even down to their dimples, Kaeleigh and Raeanne are the same. On the surface, they seem to be an all-American family, daughters of a politician's mother and a district court judge father. Their distinctions stem from the terrible secrets that each sister conceals behind their outward appearance.

For Kaeleigh, she represents the misdirected attention of Daddy's affection, meant for a mother whose time spent on the campaign route equates to time spent away from home. Raeanne just sees her father playing favorites, and she is losing. Her choices include drugs, drink, and sex since she will lose on her terms.

It is improper to keep secrets, like the ones the twins are keeping, from everyone or from each other. It becomes clear very quickly that neither sister can take it alone, and someone has to stand up to rescue the other. But who?
