The release date for the English version of 'Jemima J' by Jane Green is Jun 2001. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

Jemima Jones has a large waist. A hundred pounds or so overweight. Jemima discovers that eating is the only thing that gives her comfort after being treated like a maid by her slender and socially awkward housemates and being subjugated by the stunning Geraldine, who is less skilled but earns more money at the Kilburn Herald. Jemima realizes a significant adjustment in her life is necessary as she considers her intense feelings for her attractive, seductive, and unattainable coworker Ben. She gets the ideal chance to remake herself when she meets Brad, an attractive California hunk, online—as JJ, the trim, gorgeous, gym-addicted glamor lady. She must overcome her food addiction to become the emaciated model of her dreams, which is no easy task, but Romeo, her long-distance boyfriend, insists that they meet.

Jemima J is a story about a woman's journey to become the person she's always wanted to be. Along the way, she learns many lessons about attraction, addiction, true love, and, ultimately, who she really is. The plot moves quickly and the ending is unexpected.
