My apologies for presuming that the man I was going on a date with was single. And I apologize for bringing him to a friend's home for supper when I later learned that my buddy is buddies with his wife. because he is, after all, married. She is at my friend's place because her spouse was working, coincidentally.
Bewildered? I am also.
It should come as no surprise that my date's wife is furious to learn that her husband is a cheater.
I understand, girl.
The guy seated next to my date's wife just serves to complicate things further. A guy who goes by the moniker King and who is presumably her brother.
I won't feel horrible about swooning over King since my date is a two-timing jerk, and I won't have the chance to see him again.
Or, perhaps, I don't intend to.
To collect my vehicle keys, I'm going to take an Uber to the cheater's place.
I want to make it brief.
And if I were to enumerate every scenario that may happen... It would not have been on my bingo card to witness my date's murder, be abducted by his murderer, and then be forced to wed the very gorgeous but obviously insane criminal lord.
But here I am, sadly.
