The release date for the English version of 'Lady Midnight' by Cassandra Clare is Mar 2016. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

The first book in Cassandra Clare's newest series, The Dark Artifices, is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Mortal Instruments series and features the Shadowhunters of Los Angeles. Lady Midnight is a book about the Shadowhunters.

Five years have passed since the events of City of Heavenly Fire, which almost put the Shadowhunters out of business. Emma Carstairs is a young lady determined to find out what murdered her parents and exact revenge instead of a grieving kid.

Emma, accompanied by her parabatai Julian Blackthorn, is investigating a diabolical plan that spans Los Angeles, from the Sunset Strip to the magical water that crashes upon Santa Monica's beaches. She must learn to trust both her intellect and her heart. If only her heart had not taken her down dangerous paths.

The reappearance of Julian's brother Mark, who was taken prisoner by the faeries five years before, as a negotiating chip has further complicated matters. The Shadowhunters must assist the faeries in their frantic quest to identify the killer of their kind. In faerie, time works differently, however, so Mark hasn't matured much and isn't aware of his family. Will he ever really come back to them? Do the faeries really approve of it?

Cassandra Clare's Dark Artifices series begins with a heartbreaking introduction full of glitter, glitz, and Shadowhunters.
