Three distinct children.

They have one goal in common: ESCAPE.

In 1930s Nazi Germany, Josef is a young Jewish child. He sets off for the other side of the globe with his family aboard a ship, fearing the impending arrival of concentration camps.

In 1994, Isabel is a girl from Cuba. She and her family left their home nation on a raft in search of safety and freedom in America when riots and other upheaval ravaged their homeland.

In 2015, Mahmoud was a youngster from Syria. After violence and devastation tore apart his nation, he and his family set out on a protracted journey towards Europe.

Each of the three youths will embark on arduous quests for safety. Everyone will be exposed to unfathomable risks, such as explosions, betrayals, and drownings. But tomorrow is always a possibility for everyone of them. Furthermore, despite the fact that Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud are separated by decades and countries, unexpected ties will ultimately unite their tales.
