Rogue Lawyer

Sebastian Rudd is not your average street lawyer—at least not on the right side of the law. His workplace is a specially-configured armoured van furnished with a bar, a mini fridge, Wi-Fi and luxurious leather seats. He doesn't have a company, partners, or staff members—just his highly armed driver, who also serves as his bodyguard, legal assistant, confidant, and golf caddy. Sebastian carries a pistol and enjoys small-batch bourbon. He represents clients that other attorneys would not touch, including a drug-addled, tattooed young man suspected of belonging to a satanic cult, a violent criminal on death row, and a homeowner detained after opening fire on a SWAT squad that had broken into his home by mistake. Which clients, why? Because he feels that everyone has the right to a fair trial, even if Sebastian must break the law and commit fraud in order to get one. He despises the legal system's ideas of moral conduct, despises insurance firms, banks, and large enterprises, and he has mistrust for all tiers of government.
