I've been focused on my primary objective for so long that I've lost sight of the vast world that lies beyond. Up to Lana.
She is everything I could not have imagined, and I like that I can never predict her next move or how she will respond. That contributes to my constant falls. She blocks me out and withholds information from me that she thinks she can't discuss, but I also know this.
I hope she will trust me enough to open up to me one day.
I don't realise how ferocious she is until my work puts her in danger, but that doesn't stop me from doing all in my power to keep her safe. I should back off so I can better protect her, but I can't. I have to look for alternative methods to protect her instead.
I just hope it's sufficient.
She may be ferocious, but she's still vulnerable.
