The release date for the English version of 'Storm of the Century' by Stephen King is Feb 1999. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

Stephen King, the great storyteller, offers a brand-new, original narrative created just for television for the first time in his illustrious literary career.

It's approaching swiftly and is dubbed the Storm of the Century. Although Little Tall Island inhabitants have experienced many unpleasant Nor'easters in Maine, this one is unique. It's bringing something worse with it, in addition to hurricane-force winds and up to five feet of snow. Something never previously seen by even the islanders. Something nobody wants to see.

One of Little Tall Island's oldest inhabitants, Martha Clarendon, dies very violently just as the first snowflakes start to fall. The guy in charge, Andre Linoge, waits patiently in Martha's easy chair with his cane topped with a silver wolf's head as her blood dries.

Linoge is aware that the villagers are going to come get him. He'll let them to. He is on the island for a specific purpose. And this stranger will make one straightforward promise to everyone he encounters, including Constable Mike Anderson, his lovely wife and kid, and the rest of Little Tall's close-knit community: "If you give me what I want, I'll go away."
