Rob just want a typical existence. She also almost had it: a husband, two children, and a lovely suburban home. However, Rob worries about Callie, her eldest kid, who speaks to phantom people and gathers little bones. Rob notices that Callie has a dark side that makes her think too much of the family she had to leave behind. She makes the decision to return Callie to Sundial, her childhood home located in the heart of the Mojave Desert. She will then have to make a really bad decision there.
