Nina finds herself drawn into her riskiest endeavor to yet when her friend Karin, whom she has parted ways with, offers her a key to a public locker at the train station in Copenhagen. A bag and a three-year-old child, both drugged and nude, are found inside the locker.

Is the youngster a victim of child smuggling? Can he be sent to the police, or will they just give him back to the person who sold him? Nina understands that both her life and the boy's are in danger when it is revealed that Karin was brutally killed. Nina embarks on an increasingly frantic journey throughout Denmark in an attempt to identify the youngster, determine his true identity, and determine the identity of the person pursuing him.
