Camryn Bennett, who is twenty years old, has always been one to think creatively and knew she wanted more from life than to live out her days in the same routine and with the same old tale. And until everything broke apart, she believed that her life was headed in the right path.

Camryn is ready to move in with her closest friend and start a new career because she is determined to get beyond her bad experiences and move on. However, she decides to leave the only world she has ever known far behind after an unexpected night out at the trendiest club in downtown North Carolina.

Camryn, devoid of any guidance or intention, boards a Greyhound bus by herself, armed only with a mobile phone, a handbag, and a tiny backpack containing basic supplies, and embarks on a journey to discover who she is. What she discovers is Andrew Parrish, a man who is not all that unlike from her and who also has some dark secrets of his own. However, Camryn made a vow to never lower her barriers again. She also swore she would never fall in love.

However, Camryn discovers that she is doing a lot of things with Andrew that she never would have imagined. He demonstrates to her what it's actually like to live unconventionally and to indulge her darkest cravings. He turns becomes the focal point of her thrilling and audacious new existence on their intermittent road journey, evoking feelings in her that she never would have thought conceivable, including passion and love. However, will Andrew's sinister secret cause them to become inseparable or to fall apart entirely?

This book is suggested for adult contemporary women's fiction readers aged 17 and above due to its explicit language and sexual content.
