It's still okay to put this book down if you've just taken it up. You will find nothing but pain, despair, and discomfort in these pages, just as in the preceding novels in A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, and you still have time to read anything else.
Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire come upon a hidden corridor, a liar with a sinister plot, a darkish staircase, a red herring, some pals in a difficult position, three mystery initials, and parsley soda throughout the story's chapters.
If you choose to read anything else instead of these stories about the Baudelaire children, you will save yourself a great deal of sorrow and misery. I have vowed to record these stories so that people would be aware of all the horrible things that have occurred to them.
