One ring to bring them all together, one ring to lead them all, and one ring to tie them in the darkness.

The Elven-smiths of old created the Rings of Power, and Sauron, the Dark Lord, made the One Ring, imbuing it with his own might to subjugate all the others. However, the One Ring was stolen from him, and despite his best efforts to find it across Middle-earth, he was unable to find it. According to The Hobbit, after many ages, it ended up in Bilbo Baggins' possession.

Young Frodo Baggins is given a huge duty in a peaceful Shire town when his older cousin Bilbo gives him custody of the Ring. Frodo has to leave his home and go across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, a treacherous place where he must destroy the Ring and stop the Dark Lord from achieving his terrible plan.
