"Magnus Chase, you almost brought Ragnarok to life. What will you do after this?"

Six weeks have passed since Magnus and his companions triumphed against Fenris Wolf and the fire giants. As far as a once homeless and living child can, Magnus has adapted to life at the Hotel Valhalla. Magnus doesn't really fit in with the rest of Odin's chosen warriors since he is the son of Frey, the god of summer, fertility, and health. However, he has some excellent people on floor nineteen and has been diligently preparing for Ragnarok with the others. His days are becoming a different type of normal.

However, Magnus ought to have realised that in the Nine Worlds, there is no such thing as normal. Hearthstone and Blitzen, two of his pals, have vanished. There's a new flatmate causing trouble. A very anxious goat claims that one of Thor's items is still missing and that the foes of the thunder god would do everything to get possession of it.

It's time to make a move, call forth Jack and the Sword of Summer. Unfortunately, it seems that Jack's primary activity of interest is going on dates with other magical weapons.
