The Last Flight

Two females. Two Journeys. One last opportunity to vanish.

Claire Cook's life is ideal. Being the daughter of a political family, she has a staff of 10 and lives in an opulent Manhattan townhouse. Her days are well planned, and her future seems bright. However, nothing is entirely as it appears when things are private. The ideal spouse is as enraged as his brilliant political future, and he won't hesitate to use his team to follow Claire around to make sure she satisfies his high expectations. He is unaware, nevertheless, that Claire has been working on a disappearance plot for months.

She meets a lady whose circumstances seem as bad in an airport bar by coincidence. Together, they decide at the last minute to exchange tickets, with Claire flying to Oakland on Eva's flight and Eva flying to Puerto Rico on Claire's. They think the trade will provide them all the advantage they need to start again in a far-off place. However, Claire discovers that it's a new life rather than just a head start when the trip to Puerto Rico is cancelled. Cut off, with no other choice, and with the news of her death ready to go out in the public, Claire will take on Eva's identity and all of the secrets she worked so hard to hide.

The Last Flight tells the tale of two afraid and alone women who must make a heartbreaking choice that will alter the course of their lives.
