The Passion of Artemisia

Artemisia was a fearless and intelligent woman who lived as she wanted and paid a heavy price for it. She experienced extraordinary highs, such as being patronized by the Medicis, friendship with Galileo, and, most importantly, creating stunning and exceptionally unique paintings. She also faced challenges, such as being tortured by the Inquisition, being raped by her father's colleague, fighting for acceptance in the artistic establishment her entire life, and being betrayed by the men she loved.
