The release date for the English version of 'The Preacher' by Camilla Läckberg is Apr 2011. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

Following the success of her incredible American debut, The Ice Princess, Camilla Läckberg transports readers to a remote, peaceful Swedish fishing hamlet where sinister secrets lurk behind the peaceful exterior.

In July, when temperatures are particularly high, Erica Falck and detective Patrik Hedstrom are spending a rare week together at home. They are both anxious and enthusiastic about the impending birth of their first child. However, a horrifying discovery made by a six-year-old child across town will destroy their little tourist enclave and thrust Patrik into the middle of a horrifying murder investigation.

After the youngster finds the young woman's brutally slain corpse, Patrik is brought in to head the investigation. The situation deteriorates further when his crew finds the remains of two campers whose disappearance had puzzled authorities for decades, buried underneath the victim. The injuries sustained by the three victims seem to have been caused by the same assailant, however this is not feasible because the primary suspect in the first kidnappings committed suicide 24 years before.

In a frantic attempt to find a vicious serial murderer before he kills again, Patrik leads a search as another little girl vanishes and fear grows.
