Just now, Judge Raymond Fawcett rose to the fifth rank.
His corpse was discovered in the little cellar of a cottage on the lake that he had constructed on the weekends and often frequented. His legal clerks were alarmed when he failed to appear for a trial on Monday morning. They contacted the FBI, who eventually located the location of the murder. Judge Fawcett and his youthful secretary were the only two dead bodies—there was no forced entrance, no fight.
Although I was unaware of Judge Fawcett, I am aware of who murdered him and why.
