Until you are unable to go, you won't want to.

Le Sommet, half-hidden by woodland and dominated by menacing peaks, has long been a gloomy location. The once-abandoned hospital, long dogged by unsettling stories, has been transformed into a five-star minimalist hotel.

Elin Warner does not want to be in an intimidating, remote retreat site high up in the Swiss Alps. Elin has taken time off from her work as a detective, so she really has no excuse not to accept her estranged brother Isaac's and his fiancée Laure's invitation to celebrate their engagement at the hotel.

Elin arrives during a potentially dangerous storm and feels uneasy right away. There's something about the motel that unnerves her. And Elin has to follow her gut if she wants to locate Laure when they wake up the next morning and realize she's gone. The longer Laure disappears, the more the other guests begin to fear as the storm blocks off all access to the hotel.

Although no one is aware that another lady has vanished, Elin is under pressure to locate Laure. Furthermore, only she could have alerted them to the seriousness of the situation they find themselves in.
