Can a young orphan named Mary find happiness in a home full of secrets and grief?

Following the loss of her parents, Mary Lennox, an ill-tempered, spoilt, and unwell kid, moves in with her reclusive uncle at Misselthwaite Manor in the Yorkshire moors of England. She meets her gregarious brother, a serious gardener, a happy robin, and her stubborn, insane, and ill relative, Master Colin, whose cries she hears resonating through the home at night.

Mary discovers the entryway to a long-forgotten, secret garden with the robin's assistance. When she makes the decision to renovate the garden behind closed doors, the narrative transforms into a delightful trip into the depths of the heart, where happiness and health are brought to Colin and Mary by the garden's resurrected enchantment.
