Percy is perplexed. All he knew when he woke up from his lengthy slumber was his name. Even after Lupa the wolf informed him he was a demigod and taught him how to fight with the pen and sword in his pocket, he still had mental fog. Despite having to keep fighting monsters along the way, Percy somehow makes it to a camp for half-bloods. However, the camp doesn't seem familiar to him. He can only think of one other name from his past: Annabeth.

HAZEL IS MEANT TO BE GONE. She wasn't particularly good at it the last time she lived. Yes, even in the face of her mother's avarice, she was a submissive daughter. But there was the issue: Hazel was unable to refuse the Voice's orders to utilize her "gift" for evil when it assumed control of her mother. Her error has now put the world's future in jeopardy. Hazel hopes she could mount the horse that materializes in her fantasies and gallop away from it all.

HE IS A KLUTZ, FRANK. He doesn't see it, but his grandma tells him he can be whatever he wants to be since he is descended from heroes. Not even his father's identity is known to him. The one thing he is skilled at is archery, but not good enough to win camp war games, so he keeps hoping Apollo would take him. He feels like an ox because of his hefty build, particularly when Hazel, his closest camp buddy, is around. He has entire faith in her, enough to reveal to her the secret he cherishes.

This amazing second chapter of the Heroes of Olympus series takes place starting at the "other" camp for half-bloods and going all the way to the land beyond the gods. It introduces new demigods, brings back terrifying monsters, and has other amazing creatures that are all meant to be involved in the Prophecy of Seven.
