The release date for the English version of 'Welcome to Night Vale' by Joseph Fink is Oct 2015. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

An inventive mystery of appearances and disappearances that also takes a moving look at the ways that we all fight to discover ourselves—no matter where we live—comes from the producers of the hugely famous Welcome to Night Vale podcast.

Night Vale is a tiny town in the American Southwest where paranormal activity, alien abductions, ghosts, and government conspiracies are all widespread. The town is situated in an unnamed desert. The lives of two ladies, each with their own mystery, will collide here.

Owner of a pawn store in Night Vale, Jackie Fierro, 19, receives a paper titled "King City" from an unidentified guy wearing a tan jacket and carrying a luggage made of deer skin. She finds everything about him and his paper unsettling, particularly the fact that she can't seem to let go of the paper and that nobody she encounters has any memory of him. Before she falls apart, Jackie is determined to solve the mystery surrounding King City and the guy wearing the brown jacket.

Josh, the shape-shifting son of Diane Crayton, the treasurer of the Night Vale PTA, is grumpy. Diane has also noticed that her son's father seems to be the same as the day he left years ago, when they were both adolescents, whenever Diane visits. Diane can see the calamity coming even though she is unable to stop it as Josh, who seems different every time she sees him, becomes more and more interested in his estranged father.

Two searches that converge upon the name "King City": Diane's to reunite with her son and Jackie's to return to her previous normal life. If they can ever locate it, King City is the key to unlocking both of their riddles and their destinies.
