A Reunited Family

Several guests gather on a remote Scottish family estate on Christmas Eve as a snowstorm moves in from the north. The director of a pharmaceutical research business named Stanley Oxenford is risking everything on a medication he is creating to combat a deadly infection.

A Storm Is Forming

A number of other people are also interested in his success: Toni Gallo, who was forced to resign from the police department in shame, is betting her career on keeping the drug safe; his children, who are spending Christmas at home with their children, are eyeing the money he will make; and a local television reporter, who is determined to advance in his career, has smelled the story, even if he has to twist the facts to tell it.

A House Captured

A cunning group sees a chance to turn one of Stanley's kids against him and take the virus. It soon becomes clear that staying inside the home could be more perilous than the storm outside, particularly since a deadly virus might be at large, as everyone seeks cover.
