The release date for the English version of 'Written in the Stars' by Alexandria Bellefleur is Nov 2020. If you enjoy this novel, it is available for buy as a paperback from Barnes & Noble or Indigo, as an ebook on the Amazon Kindle store, or as an audiobook on Audible.

A delightful #ownvoices LGBT romantic comedy premiere, with hints to Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones, centres on a free-spirited social media astrologer who decides to pretend to be in a relationship with an uptight actuary until New Year's Eve, with outcomes that are beyond the stars!

Darcy Lowell is trying to get her well-meaning brother to quit being the matchmaker after a terrible blind date. The last thing she wants is love and the ensuing heartache. She then lies, claiming that her most recent setup was a success. Darcy doesn't think her deception would come back to haunt her.

One of the astrologers behind the well-known Oh My Stars Twitter account, Elle Jones, longs to meet her true love. However, she is aware that it is most definitely not Darcy—a stick-in-the-mud who takes things much too seriously and is far too analytical, punctual, and cynical for someone as free-spirited as Elle. Elle is perplexed when Darcy's brother, who also happens to be Elle's new business partner, says how glad he is that they click. Did Darcy and the date coincide? Due of... awkwardness.

Elle gives in to Darcy's demands and pretends to be interested in him in order to keep her face intact. But there are a few requirements: their agreement ends on New Year's Eve, and Darcy has to assist Elle in navigating her own controlling family throughout the holidays. Realising they are falling in love in a fictitious relationship is the last thing they anticipate.

Perhaps, however, when real love is etched in the stars, opposites do attract?
